Report Viewer

The Report Viewer lets you open and explore saved test execution reports (.json format) produced by test automation runs. It provides a hierarchical breakdown from project level down to individual test steps, with summary statistics and a pass/fail pie chart.

Opening a Report

Click Open Report in the toolbar to load a previously saved .json report file through the file dialog (filter: Report Files (*.json)). The report is then parsed and displayed.

note

Reports are produced by test automation runs. See Test Automation Reports for export options.

Saving a Report

Click Save Report to export the currently displayed report to a .json file (filter: Report Files (*.json)). This is useful for sharing reports or archiving them outside the workspace.

Report Header

The top header bar shows the Project name and summary statistics:

MetricDescription
Total TestsNumber of test cases in the report
PassratePercentage of passed tests
DurationTotal execution time
Start TimeWhen the run started

A pie chart on the right visualizes the pass (green), fail (red), and ignored (gray) distribution.

Report Tree

The left panel is a filterable tree view of the report hierarchy:

  • A Search tests, steps… box filters the tree as you type.
  • A filter pill switches between All, Failed, and Passed results.
  • An expand menu (⋮) lets you jump to Expand to Test Suites, Expand to Test Cases, or Expand to Test Steps.

Variants of the tree also cover Load Test Case (performance metrics) and Data-Driven Test Case (per-iteration results). Click any node to display its detail panel on the right; a breadcrumb bar above the panel tracks your navigation path.
