Extension Hub
The Extensions page of your account portal is the front door of your organization's Extension Hub. Publishing uploads a package to the hub; the table below lists every package the hub lets you see — public ones plus your organization's internal and private ones. Installing a package into Aethrix Studio happens in the Studio Extensions view, which resolves a package against your installed version; the portal only moves the file.
Publish a package
- Open Extensions in your account portal.
- Under Publish a package, choose a
.pkgfile (up to 512 MB). - Click Publish.
On success the page confirms it and the package appears in the table: "Published Id Version. Install it in Aethrix Studio from the Extensions view."
Download
Every row in the table carries a Download button. What you may download is decided by the hub, not by the page: Public and Official packages for everyone, Internal and Private ones only for members of the owning organization. Each download is counted by the hub and shown in the Downloads column.
When the hub refuses
The page shows the hub's answer verbatim, so a refusal tells you exactly which rule fired. The rules, in the order the hub checks them:
| Refusal | Meaning |
|---|---|
| File name | Must read Vendor.Package-Major.Minor.Patch[.Revision].pkg — at least two dot-separated identifier segments and a three-part version. |
| Metadata | The package's identity (Id, Version) is read from the definition.json inside the archive; the file name is only format-checked. A missing or unparsable version (1.0 is fine, not-a-version is not) is rejected. |
| Version ordering | An update must carry a version strictly greater than the current latest of the same package. Equal or lower versions are refused. |
| Ownership | The first version of a package may be published by any authenticated member; later versions only by the original author or a member of the owning organization. |
| Duplicate | A version that already exists cannot be published again — raise the version instead. |
The Version column shows exactly what the package declares, so two members comparing rows are always comparing the same thing.
Reference
- Visibility —
Private(only the author),Internal(only the owning organizations),Public(everyone),Official(first-party Aethrix packages). The table's Visibility column shows each package's value. - Versions and compatibility — versions and the framework compatibility bounds (
MinFrameworkVersion/MaxFrameworkVersion) are plain version numbers, so the short form1.0and the full1.0.0are both accepted; the client applies the same parsing when it decides whether a package is compatible with the installed Aethrix version. - No extensions found. — the hub holds nothing you are allowed to read yet; publish the first package or ask its owner for access.
- Not signed in / access lost — the page belongs to your signed-in session; if the session has expired the portal sends you through sign-in again before the hub is asked.
